All the cards I've seen so far have been mifare-y, typical workflow goes

hf search - high frequency search, identifies card as mifare

hf mf chk - quick scan through with known keys, be sure to check for MAD (MiFare Application Directory) esp in new stuff.

As boring as it is, hf mf autopwn seems to work pretty well.
